Joy on Christmas morning

 Hope you all had wonderful Christmas celebrations with loved ones. We travelled to Reading, a really nice laid back town, for a change and spent the festive period with friends / family.

Christmas Morning

The local church was only five minutes from the house but we were dragging our legs. An impromptu decision to go to church seemed like a good one; after the fact!

It was a rainy grey Christmas morning and we were reluctant but decided to go anyway. We were the first to arrive (30minutes before)   and really enjoyed the service. It was light and fun with all the children jumping around and showing their presents.

The Reverend wore a father Christmas costume while he gave the sermon and had the children assist him to deliver the message. His sermon highlighted the main reason while we celebrate Christmas – a child who brought hope to the world!

    awwww…..today am super proud of you my friend ;) and the father was right joy does come in the morning wink wink.
    To me Christmas is a time to be with family and though this one was hard as my husband was not around we had a great day together though oceans apart. No matter where one is, the heart is always there, for all those who have to share big days apart, enjoy the moment and loosen up for today you may be apart but tomorrow you will be united again ;-) love you hi to Mr. A
